PROPHETS

About: "A secret group of underground vigilantes work behind the scenes to undercover a human trafficking ring. When a rookie cops, who's father is a legendary attorney, joins the group, she learns not only their secrets but uncovers her legacy."

I'm also the writer. Currently looking for a producer and FEMALE director.

20 years ago, legendary attorney, Jacob Abraham's wife is killed in a botched plan to save a Korean teenager from a group of traffickers. The leader of the team sent to save the child lives with the pain of loosing her.

Years laters, upon her graduation from the police academy, Alex Abraham learns of two young teenage girls who she once was the sitter for, have been kidnapped. Being a rookie, she crosses that thin line to start investigating without being assigned the case. Her grandmother tells her of a myth. The story of The Prophets. This group worked behind the scenes, without the approval of the authorities. Her son in law, Jacob, calls them scraps...Not wanting to uncover the secret of Alex's mother's death. Mysterious things start to happen around Alex, until one day, she comes face to face with the most beautiful drag queen she has ever seen. Gabrielle. She tells her today is the day she will meet Elijah, the leader of the Prophets. He is very calculating and knows quite a lot of Alex. Confused, Alex asks questions she knows can't be answered...At least, not yet. During their first conversation, Elijah finds out the identity of the underboss of the kidnappers. It is his brother, the youngest, jealous and angry. His name is Solomon.

Solomon sets up a faux exchange of the girls with a buyer that Elijah learns of and foils. They retrieve Solomon and want answers. When Solomon and his arrogance gets the best of him, Elijah shows he's not to be trifled with, sending a nail through Solomon's toe. Solomon confesses the leaders name. He is a United States Senator...And a former Prophet.

As the story moves forward, Jacob learns of his daughter's involvement and confronts Elijah. It is revealed that Jacob blames Elijah for his wife's death and warns him to stay away from his daughter...Elijah's niece.

Not knowing the full details of her life, Alex forces Elijah to let her be part of the final plan. It is now she learns that, not only does her family has a history with the Prophets, it is her legacy. In the final event, the trafficking leader is killed, the mother of one of the kidnapped girls is killed and Solomon is killed. The hole that Elijah had hoped to fill in his soul remains open, maybe gets larger. Alex reveals she knows it all and this will be her life too.
